Few countries have the support of their bishops as the German Catholics. It must have taken courage and a strong commitment to the synodal process for these bishops to stand up to the Vatican. We need more bishops like them! When we are not this fortunate, we must take action, particularly during this time as we move into the second phase, the Continental Stage of the Synod. Click any of the links below to learn more about the German bishops who, urged by Vatican officials to put a moratorium on their Synodal Process, dug in their heels and insisted that they must consult with their people.
