1.Any comments about our last gathering.

It was noted that when writing the report, we should pick the main points from what fellow members and the report should be brief and clear.

2. How the online young adult’s small Christian community helps young people to be leaders in their communities to work on social justice and environmental Justice of care for our common home.

The challenges that were experienced and announced in the gathering were:

Some of the people in this world are disowned by the family members while they were still young.

Another thing was that in some countries people are not able to access to quality education.

On the other hand, was due to early pregnancy and one getting stigmatized and drug and substance abuse which ked to addiction.

The issue of LGBTQIA+ that leads to peer pressure in some of the schools causing one to become gay or even lesbian.

Rivals, tribalism, racism, ethnicity also cause many cases of social injustice.

Some solutions were given to these problems concerning the environmental injustice and social injustice.

Mentorship programs were carried out areas of the world to encourage and mentor this people to live in this world with hope and this was attributed by the young adults’ seekers community.

The goal and the mission were also to address the importance of quality education in all parts of the world for a better world in the coming future.

seminars and workshops were hosted at the parish and sub-parish levels during holidays where games were also inducted to address these issues and the importance of good relationships among the young people.

Share our problems and acting and coming up and implementing the mitigation measures of those problems.

Involvement of people regardless of their religion, race and ethnic groups was also another point to mitigate on the social injustice cases, and this based on the Pope Francis argument which was to build a church that would be accommodative to everyone and one to live in the world and not worldly.

Talking to people who may be willing to fund   us.

Using any chance, you get to make people aware and get rid of some of these problems on environmental and social justice.

It was also noted that Saint Dominic Catholic Christian community in kenyatta university were going to hold charity work and they were to hold mentorship activities to encourage those in the children’s home to work hard and smart and encourage them not to lose hope in life, this was also a form of reaching the marginalized in the society and accommodating them within the church.

It was also suggested that an article would be written on social justice and climate change to address these issues on the social injustice and environmental injustice. We were also advised to continue visiting the Catholic church reform international website and the Facebook page to follow up what we have been provided as the young seekers.

We were also encouraged to continue reading the articles on the CCRI website and more about the article writing. We were also encouraged to vote for the young adult’s seekers poll on the CCRI website.

Grant money available for the young seeker’s projects.

Money was available for the Younge seekers projects. For example, works on writing of articles, charity works e t.c. It was also addressed that most of the activities done maybe sponsored but until vetting is done so that money can be given to the one who requires.   It was also recognized that the projects that were to be done at kenyatta university that was the charity work and the project that is underway in Tanzania by Jessica and James are working on an article.

Speaking Out with One Unified Global Voice

"...Until we raise a common voice, we will not only not be heard, we will not even be listened to....

My hope is that by speaking out together - a strong chorus of calls for reform - we can provide a common, a clear, a strong and ongoing voice for the yet incomplete vision of Vatican II.

In common cause, let us band together across the world. By our desire to be heard on particular issues - all of them important - let us not lose the strength of our common voice by reducing it to a whisper.

In light of this, we invite individuals and organizations to join together in making known our opinions for the good of our Church. By uniting our voices, it is not about abandoning the unique work of your organization but rather about how your work can enhance global reform."

Sr. Joan Chittister, CCRI Special advisor

"We have to join our forces in order to reach a real breakthrough in this window of opportunity." Hans Kung, CCRI Consultor

CCRI is also interested in helping support various causes in regions of the world by garnering the support of our entire global community for those who need support beyond their parish, organization, or locale.
