We hope you are already engaged in gathering with others to listen to the Spirit and to each other as you share your insights into communion, participation, and the mission of our Church in today's world. Pope Francis wants to hear from everyone whether you are actively involved in the Church or even from those who have long since walked away from the Church. If you have no synodal gathering to join in this New Year, we encourage you to begin one of your own. Just invite a small group of friends or people who have opinions about the Church. Simply click here now for guidelines how to do this. If you are unable to join or start a synodal listening session in your own region, consider joining us at CCRI. Beginning in the New Year, we are offering multiple new online gatherings to accommodate the various time zones globally. Please check out the available times that may work for you and register for the one that best fits your schedule.
Pope Francis is serious about wanting to hear our stories and for us to share our lived experiences - for better or for worse - growing up in the Church. If you are unable to attend any of our gatherings and have none other that you can attend in your own region, then you are invited to send your personal story along with your solution of how your situation could have been better handled to the head of the Synod office in Rome: This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. and cc Sr. Nathalie Becquart: This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.. It is in sharing our stories that reform will come about. Feel free to pass this information onto to your contacts both in and out of the Church and invite them to join us and/or share their stories with the Synod office.
